A little bit about me and Vantage Cricket.
Started Playing when i was 10.
Playing Senior Cricket when i was 11
Played Bedfordshire Age group up until the academy side as bowler who can bat.
12th Manned a couple of Beds 1st's games.
Played cricket in Western Australia for 3 months 2007/8 season. (wouldv'e been longer but had to come back for work)
Had to stop bowling seam because of back niggles.
Left Eversholt CC, where i achieved the above, in 2009 to play for St Albans in the home counties premier league, opening the batting.
Broke my thumb wicket keeping for Ampthill CC on sundays in Bedfordshire Premier League.
Joined Ampthill CC as 1st XI vice captain and sunday 1st XI captain for 2010 season
Bat Making: When i left school at 16, i started a joinery apprenticeship. Trying to make and adapt cricket bats in my spare time at the same time. It earnt me a apprenticeship at Choice Willow where i worked until 2010. I had already started making and selling bats through word of mouth before as Vantage Cricket. i was made redundant from Choice so decided to take it on full time, which is when i decide to get softs etc and expand the business.
